When I started out in the art world I heard a lot of art terms unfamiliar to me. I was lost and finally learned what "a wash" was. It is a thin layer of paint in a pale value. When dry then another layer of color is applied on top to darken or build up the value. My goal is to share all of my watercolor knowledge with the general public.
